About The Book
The Bird Street book is a classic self-published edition, chronicling a journey in Jaypix Belmers home town of Dorchester, Massachusetts, in the years 2006 -2020.
Although all the photographs are taken within 14 years of each other, the book represents a snapshot of a vibrant community in Uphams Corner, Dorchester; that is transitioning. Take a look at the unconsidered and even the undiscovered people and places in the neighborhood that represent the past, present and future. This photography series is to show the greatness of the people, places and things that are integral and add value to the community within Dorchester. 
In this new revised version Jaypix is still very curious in seeing and meeting people, but more into the sustainability of artist and business owners; and encouraging people to take part in what they want to change, making it a better place for the whole community, not just one person or group.
